Dear Mrs. Hock, your pencils suck.
Found a letter that I had written way back when for school. I’m not sure if it’s complete or not because I believe the copy I have is a rough draft. I am guessing it was supposed to be a persuasive essay… I bet the teacher loved reading this (most students know not to bad mouth the school in their writings.. not me.) By the way, Mrs. Hock was a School Store employee.
Dear Mrs. Hock,
I always buy your ten cent pencils, and my classmates and I have noticed that the lead breaks when you sharpen them. I have an excellent answer for this problem. I hope you consider it.
This is my main idea. You should get rid of the ten cent pencils, and get get a better quality pencil and make it under 25 cents. Children are wasting their money on the ten cent pencils.
I have given my idea a lot of thought. I hope you consider it. Thank you for your time.
…. So basically I am telling her to get rid of the cheap pencils and get some better ones, but still keep them reasonably priced. I was a funny kid.
